Roadworks are due to take place on Brook Street, Congleton (A54) over the last three weekends in September. The much-needed road surfacing works will take place over the weekends to minimise the impact on the works on this busy route in and out of Congleton from Buglawton.
The closures will be between Herbert Street and Bridge Row on Brook Street. As part of this work the footpaths will be resurfaced, any defective kerbs will be relaid, followed by the surface of the carriageway being taken off any damaged sub surface will be removed and the road resurfaced.
