Free Parking in Three Congleton Car Parks on Saturdays 15th and 22nd December
Parking in the Fairground, Princess Street and Back Park Street car parks will be free after 10am on Saturdays 15th and 22nd December, although the three hour limit will still apply on the Fairground.
Cheshire East Council gives local town councils the offer of four days of free car parking a year. Congleton used one free day on Carnival Day, one for the Christmas Lights Switch-on and saved the last two for the Saturdays before Christmas.
On Saturday 15th December as there will be a number of classic cars in town raising funds for the Donna Louise Trust. On Saturday 22nd December there will be a final Makers Market of the year.
Congleton has more than 90 retail shops offering a fantastic range of products and gifts, 50 places to eat and drink and over 85 ‘service’ shops here to serve you whether it’s booking a holiday, beauty treatments, financial, or medical.
