Congleton Town Council is putting together a list of companies that would be interested in bidding for a contract to put up the Congleton Town Christmas lights in 2025, 2026 and 2027.
We will also contact the contractors who carry out this work in neighbouring towns. If you are interested in being considered for the role, which includes maintaining, installing, removing and storing the town’s Christmas lights, checking anchor points and carrying out basic maintenance on the lights please send your contact details to info@congleton-tc.gov.uk and you will be sent a brief. The list will close on the 21 November.
The bids will be considered on the 9 December and confirmed at Council on the 12 December.
The contractor will be expected to store the lights once they are removed in January 2025.
