The festival celebrates its 10th anniversary over the August Bank Holiday weekend- Friday 23rd– Sunday 25th August 2019. Once again, Congleton will come alive with the sound of music in a free festival celebrating all genres of music from cool jazz to blues rock and everything in between.
On Friday 23rd August, in association with Blue Funk Rhythm and Blues Club, the European Blues Challenge winner Kyla Brox Band will be playing a ticketed gig in the Town Hall. On Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th there will be more than 60 free entry gigs in 18 venues across the Town Centre, plus a special community stage in the Bath House Physic Garden on the Saturday. The event will start with the traditional umbrella parade leaving the Community Garden at 1.15pm.
Congleton Jazz and Blues Festival is a community-based event, it is an independent not-for-profit organisation run by volunteers to benefit Congleton Town Centre.
