Congleton Market and Car Boot is situated in Congleton Town Centre, just outside of the pedestrian area, all undercover with parking nearby. The market, open Tuesdays and Saturdays, 8am-3pm, has a variety of stalls, both indoor and outdoor, offering fresh produce, pet foods, accessory stalls and cafes, as well as a car boot on Sundays.
The Market was originally established under a charter granted to the town in 1272 by the Earl of Lincoln, Henry de Lacy for a weekly market. Congleton is known as a ‘Historic Market Town’.
