Beauty and the Beast

This talented and award-winning company of young people are thrilled to bring this popular musical to Daneside Theatre.

A fairy tale which begins with an enchantress disguised as an old beggar woman arriving at a castle during a storm. She offers a selfish prince an enchanted rose in exchange for shelter. When he scornfully refuses, she transforms him into a beast and his servants into household objects. For the curse to be broken, the prince must learn to love and earn love before the last petal of the enchanted rose falls or he will remain a beast forever. Will Belle, the beautiful young woman whom he imprisons in exchange for her father’s freedom, be the one to break the curse? Sit back and enjoy this magical ‘tale as old as time’.
