£2.00Christmas Lantern Making Workshops
Congleton Community Projects will once again be running the town’s traditional Christmas lantern-making workshops on Saturdays 9th/16th/23rd November leading up to the Christmas Lights Switch on on Friday 29th November. Workshops run from 10.30am – 3.30pm in the Electric Picture House, Spindle Mill, next to the Beartown Brewery. No skills are required and all ages are welcome with experienced makers on hand to help. All equipment is provided but a suggested £2 donation towards the cost of materials would be appreciated. You can then carry your lantern and be a part of the Grand Lantern Parade, which will be led by Karamba samba band and Santa in his sleigh at the Christmas lights switch-on.
There will also be an additional accessible workshop in Congleton Town Hall on Tuesday 26th November after school from 4pm-6pm. Booking for this is essential. Contact jo@congletoncommunityprojects.org
