Congleton Paddling Pool in Park Road is getting ready to open its gates for the summer season, starting on Saturday 26th May. The Town’s paddling pool will remain open, weather permitting, from 10.00am – 6.00pm daily until early September. Due to concerns over safety, numbers may need to be restricted on the busiest, hottest days, although last year, this wasn’t necessary. On very hot, popular days the pool area will be restricted to a maximum of 300 people to ensure health and safety procedures are adhered to. The pool will operate on a first come first served basis and when the pool has reached its maximum numbers customers will have to queue until there is room for them to enter.
Residents are reminded that the pool is designed for primary school aged children and all children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Alcohol, smoking/ vaping, dogs and cycling are not permitted inside the paddling pool area. Users are reminded to be respectable of local residents and to remember that Daneside Theatre Car Park is a private car park and cannot be used for the pool. Town Centre car parks are just a short walk from the pool and park.
