Congleton Town Council is thrilled to announce the overwhelming success of its Summer Play Day Programme, which has already brought joy to hundreds of families throughout the town. The three events held so far have been met with great enthusiasm, attracting nurseries, families, and individuals of all ages.
From getting crafty to joining in on physical activities, participants have enjoyed a wide range of fun and games. The vibrant atmosphere in the pedestrian area has been a testament to the community’s spirit, as families have come together to make the most of the school summer holiday.
Organiser, Rachel McCarthy, Town Centre and Events Officer said: “We’re delighted to see so many families enjoying the Play Days. It’s been fantastic to witness the joy and engagement at each event and the town centre buzzing with activity. A big thank you to the volunteers and community groups who’ve staged workshops and activities, making these events truly special. We’re excited for the remaining dates and encourage families to come along and join in the fun.”
With three more events to go, families can continue to look forward to an array of free, fun-filled activities every Tuesday from 10.30am to 2.30pm in the pedestrian area. Each week features a different theme, ensuring there’s something new and exciting for everyone to enjoy.
