When Congleton switches on its Christmas Lights on Friday 28th November at 5pm it’s just the start of a great Christmas for the town! Residents and visitors coming into Congleton are sure to find something special with 250 great businesses selling fabulous gifts and treats.
There’s entertainment every Saturdays with carol singers, brass bands and Beartown Radio on Saturday 29 November. You don’t worry if you need longer in town! On Saturdays 6th, 13th and 20th December Cheshire East Council is offering free car parking after 10am on Princess Street, Fairground and Back Park Street (Lawton Street) car parks.
Back Street Car Park will remain free after 3pm on all days. On Sunday 14th December the pedestrian area will be packed with stalls at the final Congleton Artisan Market of 2014. And the fun doesn’t stop at 5pm! If you’ve not ventured into Congleton in the evenings for a while you’ll find some new bars and restaurants to try!
